Weekend Wear

TGIF!!! Ever since becoming a “real adult” (yuck) and getting a “big kid job” (double yuck) I have been living for the weekends. Don’t get my wrong, for the most part I like my 9-5 but would much rather have a day to myself to explore the city, spend time with my boyfriend, catch up with my besties, work out (that means go shopping) and eat … or watch Scandal in my underwear, because that’s totally on the same level of awesome, right?My winter weekends usually consist of donuts, shoots, non stop errands, BRUNCH and bonding time with my pup, so I always want to feel comfortable and be functional, without catching a cold. As a result, my go to look consists of an oversized coat, a cropped sweater, leather leggings, larger than life sunnies (sometimes no makeup, just lipstick), a beanie, a little bit of leather and some serious scarf action … oh and Waffles ! So I am totally biased, but Waffles is like the cutest frenchie ever, right? right. So I had to let him crash the post which he hasn’t done in a while (it’s kinda cold out there for a pup, hence the doggy coat). Somedays I bundle him up so he can bear the burr & spend the day with me… usually disobeying all day long. I also follow his lead and keep warm with a must have blanket scarf.
