Red,
Color Cray
This post is sponsored by PayPal. In it I’ll share some #ColorMeWedding updates and how to save on big purchases for your big day.
As I finally start to kick wedding planning into gear there is one question that is the most important, maybe above all other wedding-related questions what wedding colors?! So while some brides obsess over their dress, venue, cake etc my biggest obsession lies with the aesthetic. WHY? Because I’m all about color so naturally my wedding will follow suit. I think choosing the color scheme for our wedding is by far the most important decision I’ll make. Period. So today I’m talking about that process sharing some color scheme ideas for any of your future brides out there & helping you shop confidentally for potentially the most expensive day of your life with PayPal! Let’s do this!
How I incorporate Color IRL
Everything I touch turns to rainbow, okay that’s a lie but it does sometimes feel that way. I have become known for wearing crazy amounts of color and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I also love an unexpected color combo (red and green is a favorite of mine) so there is kind of a process involved with selecting those colors. I’m a visual person so I like to buy and return things so I can see things IRL instead of just making a judgment based online images. In fact I probably return as many as half of the things I buy based on color and fit alone. Color is so important to me and my wardrobe, so if something is slightly off shade-wise it usually goes back. Because I’m now known for these crazy color combos and daring pairings, I need to be able to play with them together to see what works and what won’t. Knowing the way I shop, PayPal helps me shop more confidently— but I’ll get to that in a minute 🙂

Color Me Wedding
So it’s not crazy to assume someone as colorful as me will have a crazy colorful wedding and we will! You can expect the unexpected with unique color combos, and shades you’ve never seen in a wedding before. We also plan on totally transforming our space, using something fairly simple and sprinkling it with color. This will require a lot of additional and outside work from me. I’ll be buying almost everything online (because that’s how I roll) but doing so with a summer dress is easier than doing so with wedding necessities. These will have to be perfect in color and shade, and knowing me and my return stats it can be quite difficult.

PayPal helps me to shop confidently. If I want to send something back, they can cover it, if it’s eligible for Return Shipping on Us, and if something shows up defective, or just not the way it was described, they can help with their Purchase Protection. Terms and Limitations apply. I rely on the ease, convenience and overall confidence I get from being able to purchase via PayPal. In fact, Whether or not a business offers services via PayPal will directly impact my choice to purchase. No PayPal? No purchase. We’re pretty strict about this and although Paris rarely shops online compared to me, when he does he shares this same feeling. My wedding anxiety is already kind of high (as I spoke to in my first wedding update reveal post) so I don’t need any added stress like receiving and being stuck the wrong color dress in the mail NO THANKS!
Color-Crazy
I’m not crazy about much, but I am crazy about color. Since we’ll be essentially creating a color world in our wedding venue, with crazy color combos and unique pairings I’ll be hand-selected everything we’ll need to do. Having the wrong pink placemats will be a no-no, and I fully intend to turn into a color-zilla, where I’m crazy about getting the colors just right ☺ thankful for anything (like PayPal’s Protection) that gives me the tiniest bit of piece of mind in this crazzzy time.
