The Last Snow Day
Today’s photos are from (fingers crossed) the last snow day we’ll see this season in NYC … now how pissed will you be if this totally jinxes it and it snows tomorrow…As a born and bread Arizona kid I am still kind of smitten with the snow, so while most New Yorkers pout their way through the powder, I turn into a seven year old on a snow day and end up skipping my way through the slush and sludge. As a result, I need “snow boots” that are equal parts cute & comfy while keeping my toesies dry… cue these crazy cute bow boots!I quickly learned that rain boots = snow boots. Although rain boots don’t keep you as warm as a snow boot, they are a great way to avoid wearing the over-done “duck boot” situation all season long. Plus if you’re somewhere that’s still receiving snow (sorry) they’re a great option to make you feel like you’re stepping into the Spring (ehh kinda) without compromising dryness, or if you’re somewhere without snow (lucky duck) you can splash around in rain boots on a wet day and rock this same look without the coat! The same can be said if you are suffering from colder climates on the East Coast, this look (with or without the coat) can serve as an easy & climate defying outfit as you transition into spring!Loving this dainty love necklace from Kleinfields… yes, “say yes to the dress” Kleinfields. They totally have non “i-do” accessories too!

What’s your go-to to snow day style? I am always looking for ways to improve mine and would love to hear!
