… well technically it’s still Saturday, but who am I to say no to something oh so sweet!

As the self claimed “Dessert Queen”, I basically have a built in sprinkle magnet, luring me to the sweetest of locations where ever I go. Arizona was no exception, when I was lead to the cutest historic pink palace – The Sugar Bowl!

In the heart of downtown lives a pretty little pink place, where sprinkles are a side dish and adding a cherry on top is simply a way of life. Between isles of arcade games that help you travel back to the 80’s and a pearly pink booths – this girl was right at home!

For over sixty years this charming little ice cream shoppe has given us the inside scoop into some serious Arizona sweetness! Fun fact – years ago, before Color Me Courtney I styled a really fun retro photoshoot at the Sugar Bowl, and have been in love ever since. My mom has friends who grew up in the area, and would hang out at the Sugar Bowl after their friday night football games.
