Spring Separates
The full skirt & crop top combo has to be one of my favorite, pair that with some print mixing and a little red lip action and you have a classic Color Me Courtney look, just like the one I’m sharing with you today! So its no secret that I’m kinda of sorta of really ready for Spring (did you see yesterday’s post?) and my trip last weekend to my home state of Arizona only confirmed what I had been thinking all along – why isn’t it warm yet. Anyways, during my trip I got to meet the lovely Caitlin of A little Dash of Darling, my favorite AZ based blog – I loved stopping by her Guess Event with Marie Claire, and wore this printed/striped combo for the evening! The event took place at Scottsdale Fashion Square, so I had to swing by some of my Mall favorites including Z Gallerie (I’ve been obsessing over this couch) and the mall’s new DVF… where I found and bonded with this darling pink Sofa that I kind of need in my apartment – please Paris (boyfriend), pleeaassee. Since I was there with my Bestie, Whitney my lounge sesh quickly turned into a little photo shoot ended with the Sales Person saying “Can you like not put your like shoes on the sofa….” haha oops, sorry.

Speaking of separates, here are some more rock the crop top & midi combo with Spring Flare! And if you can’t wait till it warms up, try these skirts with a black tight and heeled bootie and front tuck your favorite solid sweater…. before bundling up with a Coat, or two.
SHOP THE LOOKS
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to share a few Springy looks that I wore/shot while I was enjoying the 75 degree weather in Arizona last week (see some of the highlights on instagram), despite the currently frostbite situation happening outside my front door (I literally got a brain freeze walking to work yesterday morning, like getting punished for eating a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream… without getting to enjoy the actual ice cream #ripoff … how is it that cold).
