& Beyond,
Palm Beach
Palm beach baby!
Paris and I go to Florida a lot and usually straight to Orlando for Theme park related projects, but recently we went to Palm Beach and today I wanted to share our trip recap!
Location: We stayed in Palm Beach which is about 10 min away from west Palm Beach.
Hotel: We stayed at the Colony Palm Beach which was really cute (Especially photos) but also very expensive. I would recommend staying somewhere nearby and hoping over for a meal or to snap a picture. The Colony Palm beach is more of a boutique experience, if you’re looking for more of a luxury hotel experience I recommend the Breakers. They have the full resort feel with lots of pools and beach chair access, where the Colony is more of a DIY feel.
Transportation: We didn’t rent a car while in town, we Ubered to and from the airport of if we needed to go somewhere far from our hotel. Our main way of travel was bikes! We rented them from our hotel (for free on a first come first serve basis) and used them to get around. It’s very bike friendly and you can get everywhere you need to go by bike.
Here is your two-day itinerary!
DAY ONE:
Breakfast: Wake up and have breakfast at the Colony!
Morning: Walk to Worth Ave (5 min walk) and go shopping! They have everything from designer names, to department stores to unique small boutiques. There are even a few vintage and thrift stores to explore
Lunch: Have lunch at Pizza Al Fresco
Afternoon: Rent a bike and ride to the beach! We rode along and looked at all the pretty houses before shooting on the beach at golden hour.
Dinner: Eat at Buccan Palm Beach! Make sure you make a reservation and note they’re not open for lunch, only dinner
DAY TWO:
Breakfast: Wake up and eat at the Seaside dinner
Morning: Spend the AM beach or poolside, we opted for the hotel pool this time since we already did the beach
Lunch: Uber downtown for lunch or ice cream! There are a ton of great restaurants in this area to explore
Afternoon: Downtown after you eat, explore the shops in the downtown area. They even have a solo theatre if you’re interested in seeing a local show
Dinner: Eat at the Seafood Bar at the breakers hotel
Overall palm beach was a great place to have a relaxing few days. There isn’t a ton to do and that’s what is kind of nice about it! We really got to unwind and relax which we NEVER do on a vacation. I would totally encourage you guys to visit Florida and give this place a chance! Let me know if you end up going anytime soon!
