O&G – Orange & Green

Okay so please forgive me as I am kind of failing at this pink month with two back to back non pink posts . Oops! But today I’m showcasing another fun color combo I love Orange and Green! I love pairing green with unexpected colors like Green & Red (as we learned last month during our month of red) and green and orange is no exception. I think people tend to pigeon hole colors, and consider red and green just a Christmas color, or green & orange as a Miami sports fan but if you look past what a color combo is known for you might find some fun an unexpected ways to wear it.

This outfit showcases a different side of my style. It’s a little bit sporty but also sophisticated, bold but also basic and pulls some unexpected pieces together in new ways. The biggest wild card is wearing Paris’s hat backwards for this look. I honestly wanted to rock a hat because it was cold and my hair was tragic, but I wanted to take a break from my typical beanie or goto beret! This hat was the perfect color and made a great substitute. I also love the white heels paired with my new white purse, it’s kind of classy in a 80’s sort of way and I’m digging it! I think white accessories will have a major moment this spring, so I’m currently on the hunt for the perfect white belt – here are some I’m considering below.

For this look, I’m rocking a sweater (with no coat) in the middle of winter. How you may ask, oh the answer is simple heat tech. Heat tech is my winter BFF I wear it under sweaters (pictured), dresses, or as a top. It keeps my chest warm and I think is the main reason I haven’t been sick this year and was maximally productive essayswriting.org, I get mine from Uniqlo, but I’ve also picked up a few knock off versions from amazon that work well, but definitely not as good. In this looked I’m layering two pieces of heat tech under my heavy sweater & heat tech leggings rolled up under my pants. Once again, it was a very cold day about 30 degrees but I was stubborn and just over the coats so my heat tech had to work overtime.
