Met Moments
Weekends in Manhattan are unlike anything else – so much to do so much to see!
Every Saturday and Sunday is a new day to explore NYC and twirl your way through it! Sometimes we head downtown, other days we wander the West Village and on some very special days, we hop on over to the upper west side to explore some of our favorite museums – like my personal fav, the Met!
The Met is unlike any other place in New York City – you’re surrounded by culture, history and beauty all at once. My favorite part is the met rooftop, but it hasn’t opened yet for spring (tear) despite that, we still had a blast wandering through the different wings.
Right now, they have a Jacqueline de Ribes fashion exhibit curated by the costume Institute! It makes for a great look at high fashion through the ages and honestly can be loved by even those who don’t always dress to impress – there really is something for everyone!
We’re in that inbetween spring / winter time where sometimes the weather is a little fickle. I took the opportunity to wear a skirt with sneakers & show off some skin, but kept things warm up top with a trench and a fluffy scarf
