A dress so nice, I bought it twice!

Saying yes to this darling maxi dress all summer! I loved it so much, I snagged it in two colors. Can’t wait to share why I love this dress, where to snag it on sale (yay) & so much more today! links at the end of this post

FABRIC // The fabric print is so fun & it flows! it gives me a retro “sheets” vibe, especially in the yellow/orange color! I’m really obsessed with this floral / retro vibe right now! It’s so fresh, yet classic so I know I will wear this dress for a while!

VERSATILITY // We love a twirl-worthy dress moment & this one does not disappoint!!! She is super full & flowy (hope the photos show that)!! You can dress this dress up or down to wear her so many ways. She comes in three colors (I bought two) that all give a unique vibe

THE GIRL NEXT DOOR: Try it with sneakers and a denim jacket
GIRLY GRUNGE: wear it with combat boots and layer under a leather jacket
NOT YOUR BASIC AVERAGE GIRL: Layer it under a white tee for a fresh take
BEACH BABE: layer over your swim to pair with sandals & a tote
GIRL ABOUT TOWN: pair her with heels & a statement bag
HOMEBODY: wear her around the house (as I am now) bra-less & barefoot

FIT // I’m 5-1 so this dress is a true maxi. I can wear her with small platform sneaker without dragging but also add a heel for a little length! The seam hist right below the bust and it has a draped open back. I do wish she was a little more snug on my bust so I could feel slightly more supported. I think I’ll buy a orange bandeau bra (this one is in my cart) to wear under this dress going forward, but I’m bra-less in all of these shots!

SIZE DOWN // With all the things I love about this dress, there is a downside. She runs big … like way big. I’m a size medium almost always, I bought this dress in a medium and it literally fell off me. I sized down to a XS in the yellow & a Small in the blue (I couldn’t find a XS) & both are still a bit big. They fit better when I belt them but based on the current sizing I could have worn a XXS or even a XXXS in either dress (those sizes don’t exist) based on this I recommend either sizing down 2 sizes or planning on getting the dress altered, both are great options & this dress is pretty unique to me so I think it’s worth it!

SIZE GUIDE // the dress runs from XS to XL with XS being scarce, but they continue to restock & the return rate is high, so keep looking! to give you a more detail idea, my bust varies between 36-38 and I usually wear a C or D & I’m 5-1 & I wear a Xs.

Here is what I recommend size wise:
if you’re a Medium normally, snag a Small or XS if you can (it me!)
if you’re a Large normally, snag a Medium or Small
if you’re a XL normally, snag a Large or Medium
if you’re a 2X normally, snag a Large (or a XL)
If you’re a 3X normally snag a XL
If you’re a 4X/X5 normally & you’d like to try the XL it may work
If you’re a small or XS normally snag the smallest size you can

**I don’t usually reccomended trying to squeeze into a size, it can mess with your metal state! I do apologize that this dress runs so weird, I’m just trying to give you the best review so you can make a proper purchase**

I own this dress in a size medium & it fits like most dresses! its a similar style & shape for $30 or less depending on size! It does not have a low back, so you can wear her with a bra! It comes in over 40 color ways! Shop here
