Clutch Crush

Hey Cuties! Today I wanted to share a crush worthy clutch I’ve been loving for years. Back in the day & before I moved to New York (6/7 years ago) my mom and I would spend every weekend or day off thrifting. We would go to goodwill on half off day and find furniture to repurpose, or treasure hunt through vintage stores for cute hats and bags. Almost all of my berets are vintage finds from these trips! On one of those hunts, I found this cute clutch/crossbody and it’s been a favorite of mine ever since. The crossbody has broke over time so now I wear it as a clutch or a fanny pack with a belt addition!

Here are a few ways I’ve rocked it in the past plus, how I styled it just last weekend – take a peek….

On my graduation trip in London with my brother (don’t laugh… or do lol):
Back in the day when I wore glasses to correct a axis issue with my eye and hiding my hair under a not-so-cute hat. I also still have this trench coat & still wear this lipstick (it’s girl about town by MAC).

My first year in New York:
Again don’t laugh, life before eyelash extensions was rough lol. I’m wearing all vintage in this shot for one of my first collabs with a vintage brand. The romper is thrifted from their site and the belt is thrifted, something I bought at a goodwill back in the day and still wear all the time.

& Now:
Channeling all the summer vibes with a rosetta scarf and full skirt, the weather was gross and my hair was grosser so I fought off the humidity with the headband and a twirl. I took my favorite clutch and turned it into a belt bag by simply sliding a green belt through the inside of the clutch and securing it as you normally would a belt, all while hiding the buckle inside the bag.
