Hey Cuties! Went a little wild with todays color combo and decided to stay bundled in bright coral and cobalt! To keep warm I layered coral tights with matching pumps and a turtleneck, a trick I’ve been doing nonstop all winter long. I also wore my favorite fuzzy coat that I own in a few colors, Its so snuggly and warm but looks seriously chic. It’s the best way to get away with wearing a blanket in public.

While I have you, I wanted to give you a few random life updates for me. I don’t usually do this in blog posts but thought it would be a quick and easy way for me to keep you updated on everything.

Travel – we’re starting to plan our trips for the year and I’m really excited about them! We’ll be getting to some warmer weather soon with a quick trip before heading out to Orlando for a fun project with disney at the top of next month. I’ll also be speaking at a panel towards the end of march also in Orlando so thats two disney trips that month – weee. We’ll also be traveling to Paris and perhaps London in the early spring but still need to lock down days.

Color Me Magic – Speaking of disney, I launched a new instagram account called @colormemagic_ which is focused on disney and Harry Potter content and I’ve been having so much fun with it. When I first started blogging it was only a hobby, something I did in my free time, but after it became my full-time job I realized I no longer had any hobbies. So far, this account has started to fill that void and it’s been really therapeutic for me to do. The account was something I was planning on doing with my brother, but since he passed away so suddenly in November I wasn’t sure I would have the strength to do it without it. Proud of myself for pushing through and making it happen, I think that’s what Trent would have wanted.

Lookbooks – we’ve been really refocusing on video this year and creating more visual content for you, we’ve been shooting a look book for our first two colors of the month and I can’t wait for you to see.

Apartment – so nothings set in stone but we might be moving… We just need a little more space and would like a full blown studio in our apartment. We were trying to decide if we rent a second space or upgrade to a bigger unit, and the upgrade sounds like the best option. We actually found a great place so we’ll see if we commit.

Wedding – Paris and I have started wedding planning and have finally landed on a “theme” which I’m reallllly excited about. I now need to find a good wedding planner but looking for one has proven to be totally overwhelming. If you have any tips for where to start, let me know!

Friendships – one of my goals last year was to really focus on forming new friendships. This can be really hard as an adult especially when everyone you grew up with is on the other side of the country. I finally feel like I’m in a good place to where I have found people I want to have meaningful relationships with, and removed those who need to go. If you want, I can talk more about letting people go in future blog post, but for now I’m focusing on growing these relationships and strengthening my current friendships. I usually focus way more on work than anything else but I’m trying to be a bit better.

Health – I’ve been having a really hard time health wise with my fibromyalgia (read the full story here) so I’m starting to make some diet changes. I have tried some of these once before but I really hate being that person. I do most of the cooking and never want Paris to be impacted by my health issues, I really hate that. Nevertheless my pain has been SO BAD lately that I’m starting to make small changes to see if it can improve. I honestly cant remember a day when I didn’t have pain, it was probably 10 years ago, so if I could get my pain down just a bit I think my days would be much better.
