Hey cuties and welcome back to our month of lilac.

If you follow me on Instagram you know I love a good #Colormemani So today I wanted to talk a little bit about why I use the signature manicure and some cute color combos using this color of the month, take a peek!

I’ve been wearing this half-and-half signature manicure here for almost 2 years now. It’s a fun way to introduce colors, shapes and a little bit of fun to your average mani. I usually get a gel manicure once a month at a salon in the city. Ever since I got engaged, I now get to wear the pretty yellow ring every day from Simon G jewelry, so that has definitely impacted the color combos I use for my #ColorMeMani. I like to pick color combos that work with my yellow ring, weee. Luckily yellow goes with almost everything so it really hasn’t hindered my options

For this months #ColorMeMani I knew I wanted to use lilac because it’s the color of the month, but I wasn’t quite sure what to pair it with. The good thing about lilac or lavender is it goes so well with so many other colors: orange, yellow, blue, dark purple, pink and More. But for whatever reason I was feeling a little adventurous and decided to pair lavender with a bright teal, For this #ColorMeMani. This combo reminded me of the black mirror episode San Junerperno, Because it gives me seriously is 80s vibe in almost a parallel universe kind of feel. In the end it wound up being one of my favorite #ColorMeMani ever, But if teal and lilac aren’t for you here are some more color combos to use featuring this month color of the month!
