Cherry Blossoms

Today we’re talking all about Cherry Blossoms!

As you know, I recently ventured to Japan, the cherry blossom capital of the world where I got to se the pretties in their natural element! Cherry Blossom season is really in full bloom for one or maybe two weeks, and usually happens in mid to late April. People plan their trips to Japan over this epic season in hopes of trying to catch it, but sometimes these fickle
little pretties deiced to bloom early and throw everything off. That’s what happened this year, when they popped up the first week of April – which just so happens to be when we arrived!

So today’s post is short & sweet, just like cherry blossom season. I just wanted to give you a quick look at Philosophers Path in Japan, a blossom lined walk way just bursting with color and show two ways to wear my favorite Cherry Blossom dress. It’s a splurge, so I wanted to show you how you can dress it up or down to make it worn more ways than once.

Brooklyn Botanical Gardens – I haven’t made it hear yet (I know, I suck) but I’ve been stalking a few brooklyn bloggers who have been posting here! OH and their having a full floral festival this weekend!

Central Park – Cliche I know, but here you’ll find all the cherry blossoms you need to totally rock your world.

Washington Square Park – This park is one of mine (and Waffles’) favorites but they just planed a bunch of bright cherry blossom scattered throughout!

Prospect Park – Another brooklyn pretty sure to charm you with her bright beauty! Check out the cherry blossoms here, plus it will be a little less crowded than central park of the BBG!

Grace Church at Broadway and E 10th St – Randomly, there is a super cute church and school at E 10th and broadway in NYC, if you’re looking for a quick picture or to see some undisturbed blossoms, it’s one of my favorite secret spots to do so!
