KONICHI WA !!!!OMG GUYS, GUESS WHAT — I’m in JAPAN!

For the first time every, I’ve made the thirteen hour treck to Tokyo to explore Japan and all it has to offer, and I’m so freaking excited! I’ve only been here for a few short days and have about six more days of adventure ahead of me, but before I started flooding your screen with Color Me Kawaii (cute in Japanese) photos, I wanted to share a sneak peek of what I’ll be wearing …. literally!

First and foremost my travel style is comfortable, I like to kick back and relax when I’m on vacay so that means no heels, just sneaks! If you pop open my suit case, you’ll find a serious supply of springs dresses, light jackets & keds from Zappos in all sorts of colors!

I usually bring one pair in white & another in a fun color for contrast & pop. I like my keds to be really white, so I picked up a new pair from Zappos right before I left NYC, withe the affordable price tag (Under $50) I don’t mind picking up a new pair for a big adventure like Japan! I’m always a last minute packer & planner for trips, no matter how early I try to figure things out #oops so I turn to Zappos to take advantage of their promise of fast, free shipping, and always stellar customer service, and not to mentioner their 365 return policy, so if I over order (which I usually do) I don’t have to worry bout scrambling to get them back within a crazy 15 day window when I come home!

A classic look like a black and white striped dress, white keds and a military jacket was the perfect look for a morning of exploring shinjuku & the imperial palace! I love this look because it takes Classic with a twist to a whole never level, by playing off everyday pieces you probably already own, but mixing them in a new way

I’ve been obsessing over pastels for spring so for my pop pair i picked up these darling little seafoam pretties! I just so happened to have a matching minty dress for the perfect monochromatic spring look! I played with layering on and off of a light colored denim jacket when things got chilly in Harajuku!
