A Spring Dress & Sneakers
These sneaks were made for twirling!
OH EM GEE, IT’S SPRING! Its the perfect time to take that darling spring dress out for a whirl through the city.
I like to spend my Spring dancing through the streets, eating out doors and taking advantage of every second of sunshine. Sometimes I step out of my apartment early, with a bag stocked full with my laptop, camera, water bottle, snacks and my pup, Waffles so I can twirl the day away before returning home when the sun finally sets. Spending the day out doors can do wonders for your spirit, but you have to be dressed for such a day – so today I’m sharing my go-to spring wardrobe: A dress & sneakers – specifically Keds from Zappos!
I’ve been rocking a dress (or skirt) & sneaks for as long as I can remember! I think it’s a tip I took from my kindergarten self when I would refuse to step into anything that wasn’t twirl worthy (my poor mom). Now, living in the City, I cling to Keds all year long because they’re not only the cutest of lace up sneakers that pair perfectly with all of my dresses but also extremely comfortable!
You guys know I’m kind of fickle right? I sometimes buy things that sit in my closet and never get worn – I’m only human right? That’s why I love shopping for retailers like Zappos for my go-to styles (like Keds) because of their 365 return policy, promise of fast, free shipping, and awesome sauce customer service – thats where I picked up both of these adorable Keds for Spring!
Today I wanted to show you two crazy cute Spring outfits that I live in all seasons. You can make the keds & dress combo work with your favorite lace midi, or a cute floral fit and flare – just add a denim jacket (like this one I stole from my Boyfriend) or leather bomber for those chillier days and you’ll be ready to twirl your way through the day.
I feel most comfortable in a dress and sneakers, so naturally they help me dance any day, trouble or bad mood away in serious style! I hope this post inspires you to kick up your keds and dance your cares away – after all, it’s Spring so there isn’t much to be sad about 🙂
