Do The Twist – The Perfect Party Look
I’m here to party – and by party I mean DANCE (and eat)
It’s no secret that fit and flare dresses are kind of crazy cute! They’re super flattering, fun and a sure fire way to make a statement. But if you’re anything like me, you go to parties to eat and dance (not necessarily in that order) so sometimes a tight fitting dress isn’t the best fit.
Instead, try twirling the night a ware in a loose fitting black swing dress! If you’re shaped like me it’s not the most flattering thing you can wear, but if you off set this drapey dress with a light weight clutch and high heels you’ll look longer and taller, making it more flattering!
Make sure you wear your hair down too (I know, weird right) and a little lipstick! Wearing it down will help even out your proportions and the red lip will draw the attention to your face! I also love the bell sleeve detail and ruffle feel for a little flirty twist!
An Unconventional Hostess Gift – A record!
Do a little time traveling with your gifting by bringing some vintage vinyl or a classic album! Urban outfitters has an awesome selection of Vinyl records like Elf and Charlie Brown Christmas plus current alums from Top Artists – I also picked up the Carly Rae Album – cause she’s my girl!
