If you told me this time last year that I would be all over the seventies trend I would have laughed in your face… but here I am, looking like Jackie Burkhart and totally LOVING IT!

If you’ve been just the tinniest bit awake this season you know that we’ve took a little trip back in time, to the 1970s, baby?! It’s all about suede skirts, serious flares and flatforms for Fall — can you dig it? Of course you can because it’s groovy,funky and so totally FAR OUT… DUDE!

Because a little seventies can go a long way, the best way to tackle this trend is to try it on in small doses. Pair a seventies skirt (like mine – which is awesome and you need it, nuff said) and keep it simple and chic with over the knee boots or a classic white button down! If flares are your thing, give them a whirl with a classic heel (TRY LEOPARD! I double dog dare you!!) and a white tank under a leather jacket and BOOM insta-chic!

Okay back to OTK boots, I promise you this won’t be the last you see of them this season. I intent to wear THE HECK out of them all season long. They’re easy, ca-ute and go with EVERYTHING. I swear. You need those too, so like HOP ON IT!
