Summer Date Night
Although Summer is technically coming to an end, it is still very, very hot in NYC! If you’re feeling the heat wherever you live, than this pots is especially for you! Today I’m sharing two cute summer date night outfit and date night ideas for those warmer nights!
Sunset Stroll
The easiest way to get dressed up for a fun summer date night without sweating like a crazy lady is to wear a summer dress. I’m kind of obsessed with this bright, patterned dress with bow tie sleeves. It’s soooo cute and has the right amount of color to make a statement for any summer date! Not to mention, it’s on sale … oh and IT HAS POCKETS which is a total game changer for me with any dress. I wore this dress, with flatish sandals a few weekends back, when Paris and I went out for ice cream and a sunset stroll on Pier 45 Hudson River Park!

Summer Slit
For a sassier date night look, try a off the shoulder crop top with a slitted maxi skirt! I love the drama of an off the shoulder silhouette, but to really crank it up a notch I paired it with a flirty maxi skirt with a serious slit. The maxi skirt gives you maximum coverage, but the slit dresses it down and brings a little sassier side to the look. I wore this for a dressier dinner one night with this summer with Paris. Our favorite restaurant when we want something “dressy” (and the dressiest we get is about $35-40 a meal, because we’re kind of cheap) is 44 and X in Hell’s Kitchen – great food, good ambiance and the people are always SO NICE !

Tell me, whats your ideal summer date? Although I like swanky dinners, I always prefer casual dates like the first one, and you can’t beat a summer sunset – I love those cotton candy skies!
