V.day is for lovers… and those obsessed with wearing red! Since it’s my go-to-hue I take full advantage of the opportunity to wear obnoxious amounts of it (are you surprised?) and pair it with other lovely valentines-inspired pieces.I’m completely smitten with this heart breaker sweater, it’s the perfect weight, length, and print! I love that it takes a different twist on the classic black & white polka dots, by switching spots for hearts but still gives the bold graphic appeal of an all over print! Plus as an added bonus it is total versatile – wear it with a midi like me (that I totally should have steamed first, whoops) for a Valentines day date, with a black pencil skirt to the office or with ripped jeans and converse for weekend-chic! No matter how you rock this crush-worthy sweater, you’ll totally steal the show, and potentially a few hearts <3Since understated is totally overrated, I turned this sweater up a notch by pairing it with a color blocked midi skirt & bold, statement pearls. Glam lashes, the cutest little mini quilted bag and a big bold lip were the finishing touches to help push the look over-the-top – but don’t worry, I did edit a bit by keeping it classic with black louboutins 😉
