Welcome to my wonderland – I’m today I’m sharing how I combated last week’s snow with a double dose of stripes and a smile.

Growing up in Arizona was great, but realllly warm – no outdoor ice skating, no reason to wear coats nor blanket scarves (my gosh, can you imagine) and no snow in sight – Boo! So when it snows in my current city I wake up like a Kid on Christmas morning and bundle up before skipping my way to work in toddler-like fashion.To say I’m obsessed with the snow is a vast understatement, especially when it’s so well-behaved as it was last Friday. I call this, movie snow, because it’s something you see in the final scene of Serendipity or in some black and white Audrey Hepburn film, sighhh. It’s just so beautiful and cinematic, that I can’t get enough of it. On days like these, I ditch the subway and let the other New-Yorkers fight for cabs, while I glide (Miss Congeniality style) and twirl all the way to work, while getting soaked in the worlds most perfect snow flakes! Don’t worry, I stay warm in three pairs of tights (I’m serious, I had to take one of the off once I got to work because I was a little too warm… don’t judge me) and two sweaters, black cashmere under layered this super striped sweater!Sweater || Skirt (similar) || Similar Scarf (another here) || Booties || Hat (Similar)
