Buffalo Plaid
Girls rule, boys drool, and to prove it to you today I’m wearing my boyfriends shirt better than any guy ever could 😉 Sorry Boys, your plaid shirts are now officially fair game.I don’t really consider myself a big “plaid” girl. Even during Fall I am not really one to reach for the flannels, but come December/January all bets are off and I find myself falling for Flannels, especially of the plaid variety. But since I don’t have an abundance in my closet, and am pretty poor after Christmas (boo), I resulted to shopping in my Boyfriends closet to pick up this red buffalo plaid top – Sorry, Paris. The “boyfriend” shirt looks great with ripped denim or even a leather mini skirt and over the knee boots! I tried to be cool and unbutton the top one button too far, but am not edgy enough to pull it off and resulted to safety pinning the top closed between the second and third button (I didn’t do a great job and you can totally see it in some of the photos, whoops! well exposed safety pins are kind of edgy, right?). I added leopard booties to ensure to the world that although I am wearing mens clothes, I am still a girl and layered with an oversized red jacket because I am a wee bit insane and always think more is more! Red lipstick, a boyfriend-esque beanie and a teeny tiny black bag were the finishing touches for this casual (and crazy comfy) weekend look.Buffalo Plaid (borrowed from my boyfriend) || Jeans (my fav) || Booties || Bag || Coat c/o
Oh and before you go, don’t get mad, get plaid and shop some of my favorite buffalo plaid pieces that would look great with any wardrobe!
