Color Me Cookies

I love playing hostess, especially during the holidays!Last weekend I hosted a super fun holiday party – I crammed some of my favorite bloggers in to my teeny tiny NYC apartment for Color Me Cookies. Now that I’ve finally come down from my sugar high, I wanted to share some of the festivities!It’s no secret I have a thing for sweets, and frosting and SPRINKLES, so it was only natural that I threw a christmas party centered around desserts. Because I love DIYs and anything that would make my dentist cringe, I decided to combine the two for a cookie-centric holiday party!
Because my apartment doesn’t have an oven (and even if it did, I probably wouldn’t use it, #takeoutqueen) I opted to buy cookies & frosting for the event, so setting things up was super easy, essentially I just turned my living room into a cookie decorating station, my jewelry trays into sprinkle holders and we were ready to go!As for attire, I asked the girls to come wearing ugly sweaters or something festive. Everyone showed up wear sparkly cardigans, sequined sweaters and polka dot pants while I hung out in this super cute ugly sweater! But I didn’t mind, I loved being the ugly lone wolf for the night!
