Home for the Holidays
There are so many things to love about the holidays, food, family, shopping, pie and of course sequins! I love busting out the sparkle for this time of the year, and you should too! So today I’m sharing a holiday glitz and glam look with an edgy twist!Pencil skirts aren’t usually my friend, because I’m hippy with a smaller waist, I am usually better suited for a fit and flare skirt that eventuates my smallest point while hiding my not so favorite parts, but sometimes a skirt is so cute that I have to make an exception. I used cropped & contrasting pieces to add a little edge to a girly skirt and the look a little more flattering. Plus I skipped the spanx and wore a black body con dress under everything to double as a top while keeping everything in place. Since this leather jacket hits at the waist, it still draws the eye to my smallest point to make a pencil skirt work even for a curvy girl.Aside from some serious sparkle, one of my favorite parts has to be the warm and fuzzy feeling of going home for the holidays! To help you get there, Maurices (the masters behind this killer sparkle skirt) are giving away three round trip tickets anywhere in the US for up to $1,500 to help send you or a loved one home for the holidays… because presence is the best present 😉 To enter just submit your name, email and phone number here then cross your fingers & toes … I’m rooting for you!
