Sophisticated Sparkle

Glitter, glitz and glam can be any girl’s best friend, but it’s all about how you wear it!

It’s no secret that I am a bit of the top, I eat sleep and breathe bold colors and in your face outfits. But not everyone enjoys being as obnoxious with their outfits as I do, so here’s a way to a sparkly style in a sophisticated way.

As you know by now, I am all about the layering. To take a sweater or shirt from basic to bold, I pair it with a button up blouse. And to make a statement I layered on the necklaces!

Do any of these pieces look familiar? It’s because I wear them all the time! This outfit contains a few key investment pieces that could be worn a million ways: white skirt (a la zara), a black bow belt (kate spade) and a white button up. If you are color crazy like me, a bright bag and bold pumps may also make your investment list!

Over all, I like this outfit because it’s classy enough to make a good impression but still classic Courtney with bold pops of color and a little bit of glitz. I guess the moral of this outfit is you don’t have to sacrifice your personal style to “look the part”, you just have to intertwine the two.
