Kitty Cat Keds

Incase you didn’t notice, cat’s have taken over the world. Run … hide! Grab yo kids, grab yo wife!            
Jussst Kidding – but seriously the fashion world is under cat-attack and I’m kind of obsessed with it. I have even tagged on to the trend by investing in this super awesome cat phone, despite my life long status as a “dog person” (don’t tell Waffles). These purrrrfect little pussy cats have always had their claws in the fashion world, from charlotte olympia cat flats & pumps (omg gimmie), to feline inspired pointed nails and everywhere in between like leopard prints, tiger stripes and crazy cat eye sunnies. Whether you noticed or not, these nine-lived little monsters have been taking over, one fashion craze at a time.

I may not be a crazy cat lady (yet… okay, never – but crazy frenchie lady? sign. me. up.) but my feet didn’t get the memo. Today I’m sporting some seriously ca-ute kitty cat keds for casual/chic weekend wear, woo! It’s no secret that I live in keds, they’re just the best option for crazy comfortable shoes. Since my office is pretty casual, I dress them up with skater skirts or fit & flare dresses (I’m gonna be riding this sporty trend train until the tracks run out), for weekend I wear them when walking Waffles in leather joggers & a graphic tee.I got my hands on these pretty kitty keds on Friday and wore them all weekend long! First on Saturday in the outfit pictured while shopping and eating (mostly eating) my way through downtown with Daisy, and again on Sunday while running errands & stopping at my local Coffee  shop (also with Daisy, gosh we either really like each other or have no other friends… let’s hope its the former 😉 ). Since this weekend was uncharacteristically hot (wtf NYC?) the keds & skirt combo was pretty much perfect, and I helped that they matched my kitty case!By the way, these keds are part of their ongoing collab with Miss Taylor Swift! She’s so purrfectt for keds and always sports their styles with her own girly-vintage vibe + she’s obsessed with Cats and named her’s Olivia Benson, ha! P.S. notice something new? My blog got a little mini make over – hooray! Since I’m a control freak and obsessed with figuring things out on my own (is that what stubborn is?) I did it all on my own, including migrating from wordpress to blogger… self five ;-)! I’m no tech-genius so it took a lot of work and research on my end but I am so glad I did it on my own, it’s like my own little child or something (sorry Waffles, don’t worry you’re still number one). Anyways, since it was my own labor of love it’s still semi under construction, so take notice as things continue to change in the next few weeks and if something still isn’t working right, please bear with me 🙂
