3 Things Getting Me Through
Hey cuties As you guys know we’ve been taking quarantine and this pandemic very seriously, to the point where we are almost exclusively staying home. It’s been tough for sure, but it is what’s right for us for our own safety and to stop the spread. Despite the lack of fresh air, activities or seeing other people we’re actually doing okay. SO I thought I would share 3 things currently getting me through right now, incase they might help you!
Animal Crossing || Nintendo Switch || Ducky Slippers ||
Sunset Dress || Cropped Hoodie || Lace-Up Legging ||
Standing desks: One || two ||Three
Zoom and FaceTime – Getting dressed up for any of my FaceTime calls (from the top up) has been really fun. I’ve been playing with my makeup and earrings to make the people on the other side of the screen smile! I’ve been trying to take my zoom calls over zoom instead of just a phone call because it gives me that added face to face contact and gives me an excuse to dress up!!
Stating Active – with my fibromyalgia I need to have some light physical activity otherwise my symptoms get out of control. I can usually get that fix by walking around the city, but without that option I was really feeling the pain the first few months. SO I bought this reasonably priced bike desk on amazon and I low key love it! I use it anywhere between 1 and 5 times a day. Sometimes I do serious 30 min work outs on it, but often I’ll just pop on for 15 min at a time multiple times a day. if I’m feeling sleepy, I’ll do a quick work out off the bike followed by a short ride. It’s not a high level or intensity work out, but I’m really enjoying it!
Animal Crossing – I’ve said it before and I’ve said it again, its been SO fun for me to escape into my own private island via Animal Crossing.There I control everything from how it looks to live there and its been so nice to have a hobby right now!
SHOP WHAT YOU SEE:
I hope these 3 things helped or at the very least made you remember that you’re not at all alone right now. The world is weird for everyone, and I’m just finding a way to make the best out of it!
